RoHS & REACH Compliance Statement

1. RoHS Compliance

Standard Basis

Strictly follow the EU "Restriction of Hazardous Substances Directive" (RoHS 2011/65/EU and revised Directive (EU) 2015/863), restricting 10 hazardous substances such as lead (Pb),

cadmium (Cd), and mercury (Hg).

Control measures

Material screening: All raw material suppliers must provide RoHS test reports (third-party certification such as SGS/CTI).

Process control: Non-environmentally friendly processes (such as lead-containing solder) are prohibited in the production process.

Finished product testing: Regularly sample homogeneous materials of LED devices (such as SMD/DIP packages) to ensure that the content of harmful substances is below the limit (such as Cd<0.01%).

Document support

The "RoHS Compliance Declaration" or third-party test report (such as IEC 62321 standard) can be provided upon request.

2. REACH Compliance

Standards

Comply with the EU "Regulation on Registration, Evaluation, Authorization and Restriction of Chemicals" (REACH, EC 1907/2006), and fulfill the obligation to report SVHC (Substances of Very High Concern).

Control measures

Supply chain audit: Require suppliers to provide REACH compliance statements to ensure that the SVHC content in all materials is <0.1% (w/w).

Dynamic update: Check the SVHC list released by ECHA every six months and adjust the material formula in a timely manner.

Document support: "REACH Declaration of Compliance" or supply chain delivery documents (such as SDS safety data sheet) can be provided.

3. Exemption clause description

RoHS exemption: Some special LEDs (such as infrared/ultraviolet) may be subject to specific exemption clauses (such as lead for glass packaging), but they will be clearly marked and meet the exemption conditions.

REACH exemption: If trace process residual substances (such as epoxy resin curing agent) in LED packaging are not included in the authorization list, they do not need to be registered separately.
