How to choose high-power LEDs?


Among many LED products, high-power LEDs have become the first choice for lighting projects and professional projects because 

of their high brightness, strong stability and wide application range. But facing various models and parameters on the market,

 how to correctly choose a high-power LED that suits your needs? Here are a few key points:


1. Clarify the usage scenario

Different applications have different requirements for luminous flux, color temperature and angle.


Outdoor lighting: requires high brightness, waterproof, and high heat dissipation


Stage lighting: requires RGBW colorful control


Industrial lighting: pays more attention to durability and consistency


 2. Look at power and light efficiency

Choosing products with high light efficiency (lm/W) and reasonable power consumption control can save energy and reduce costs.


 3. Pay attention to heat dissipation design

High-power LEDs generate a lot of heat when working, and need to be matched with a good heat dissipation substrate (such as aluminum substrate, ceramic substrate) to extend the service life.


4. Color temperature and color rendering index (CRI)

4000K-5000K is recommended for indoor lighting


CRI>90 is recommended for art exhibitions, shops, etc., and color reproduction is more realistic

Choose manufacturers with quality certification (such as CE, RoHS) and actual project experience to avoid quality fluctuations and after-sales risks.
